Being short-staffed at work sucks ^_^;

BLAH - SUNDAYS

Sundays suck. Generally they're really boring since I have a tendency not to want to play video games like I do during the week because time flies too quickly. Odd isn't it? I get bored on Sundays and hate them with a passion but I resent them being over because the weekends always go too quick.

It's Monday tomorrow. This I am not happy about XD

Still. The Mummy Returns is on tonight. After that I'm torn between digging out my Die Hard DVD or finally getting around to un-boxing and watching Soul Eater. I bought the DVDs ages ago but I just haven't gotten around to putting them to use yet. Speaking of; why did this series not get a Blu-Ray release? It's crazy.

I reached the top of the second block today in Persona 3 PSP. I might be a bit underlevelled - the game is being a bitch at giving me EXP. I'm not sure if it's because I'm on Normal Mode, on New Game Plus with FeMC at level 64 but it's taking forever to level up Junpei and Yukari. They're both level 13 at the moment and I went to Tartarus when Theo told me the path had opened up so... I basically have an entire month of social linking since I picked up all the crap he wanted for his quests at the same time.

I might go back and level some more but FeMC is creaming everything in sight at the moment with Garudyne so... I might leave it a bit and power level them when the game starts giving me some decent EXP or more EXP shuffle cards.

CYBER PURPLE - CONTINUED

I did it! My hair is now officially purple.

It actually looks really cool. Near black until it hits the light and then there's a purple tint.

It's too dark to get a decent picture right now and my hair is a giant fluff-bomb anyway. If I can tame it down I'll take a pic tomorrow ^_^

CYBER PURPLE

So I'm considering taking the plunge and finally dying over my dull brown hair. My colour of choice is a rather vivid yet dark shade of purple. I'm hoping this turns out OK. My last hair dye experienced involved myself, my mum and some sort of 'colour remover' that she INSISTED would only strip out the dye (red).

Of course I ended up with white roots, blond and then GINGER. It was not a pretty sight.

Fortunately it was the school holidays and I got it dyed over by a professional. I knew I shouldn't have listened to her XDDD

Provided it turns out OK I'll post a pic or something.

I am wondering if I should ask my boss though... does that sound kind of pathetic? There's a woman who has plugs (which look so cool!) and bright red hair but I'm actually on reception so.... yeah.

(but it really would be pathetic to actually ask him - especially when he has more important crap on his mind than the colour of my hair XD)

DARK RETURNS

Well the impromptu death of my computer kind of killed everything TS3 related for a while... well that and a crippling obsession with Persona 4.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like I'll be replacing the old rig just yet. She's back up and running thank goodness but I needed new glasses and... well I have quirky/expensive taste so that set me back £160 ^_^;

I should be getting back into the game at least though. It's just a shame I won't be able to play it on the swish Dell computer I've had my eye on for several months.

Oh well. There's always next month. Gnah I've only just cleared my credit card and I'm already planning to give it another hammering. XD

FORTY - NEEDLES SUCK :(

I've been sick as a dog all week. Started out as a stomach complaint and turned into complete and utter physical exhaustion. I feel like I've got the flu but without the cold part ^_^;

Went and had a blood test today to try and get to the bottom of why I've been feeling so drained. It was fine at the time, nothing I haven't experienced before since I've given blood in the past. Now my arm is aching like a bitch.

THIRTY-FOUR - THE GIRL BEHIND THE BLOG

I'm sure none of you have been wondering what I actually look like but I got a new camera phone and I haven't had a picture taken of myself in forever (I loathe cameras with a passion but I got up far too early this morning and I was bored ^_^; ) so.... yeah, this is me. I apologise in advance if I frighten small children who may be in the same room XDDD

TWENTY-NINE

No title for this post as it is a post of nothingness. I figure I really should do more with this blog aside from posting my sims and buildings all the time so here we go. This is my attempt at doing something else.

Unfortunately I'm still relatively new to blogging in that sense; I'm used to posting things - I used to make icons way back when, I fangirl a little over video games, manga and anime but in general I fail epically at keeping up with stuff like this. I'm not witty or all that funny. Basically I bitch a lot.

But then some of you who know me be it IRL or from the forums already know of my snarky/bitchy nature ^_^; (I am nice IRL - honest! I'm just a very opinionated person XD)

Off work in another two days, woo! I'm looking forward to the time off (as well as having the house to myself - it's a sad life when you're 22 years old and excited about the fact that your parents are going away for the week ^_^; ) but I'm going to make sure that not even this damn heat ruins my week off.

Ahh a week of sitting on my ass playing video games - wonderful.

I still have to learn my Korean. Got my grading for my green stripe in Taekwondo next Saturday.

TWENTY-SEVEN - DARK RUNS OUT OF TITLES

Wow learning Korean is a bitch, even if I only have to learn the words associated with my taekwondo it's still bloody difficult ^_^; I'll have to ask my instructor tonight how to say a few of the words. I've written them out but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to pronounce them.

TWENTY ONE - AMAZING NOTHINGNESS

Did a bit more building today in my game. Nothing finished enough to show just yet. I'm making a school to fit in better with my neighbourhood than the rabbithole one but I'll probably just leave it as a shell. The lot is kind of big and I hate trying to furnish something so huge. Still I may just deck out one room so I can use it for photos when I get around to actually playing my game.

Heh, I'll go to all this trouble and then either get bored halfway through or unleash simmies upon the neighbourhood only for them to completely ruin it.

Maybe I'll make a backup neighbourhood once I'm finished... so I can start anew if it does get mucked up.

On another note that is surprisingly not Sims related for a change; it would've been nice of HMV to tell me that they were increasing the BluRay box set I preordered from £14.99 to £25.99 - seriously, what did you think would happen? Ugh. Most websites I use honour the price I preordered at or at least notify me of a price change, HMV? Nope. They almost double the price and don't utter a word of it. I wouldn't have even realized if I wasn't looking for something else in the same series.

Unfortunately it looks like I've accidentally deleted my original confirmation e-mail from them that would've given me a good argument to go and kick their damn asses (via e-mail; the nerd's 'drive by argument' ;) ) so I have no proof as to what the original price was.

Eh, I'm not that bothered. I don't think it's worth the money, I'll cancel the order. No big deal, I'll get it later in the sale but seriously - isn't it a requirement for companies to notify their customers of price changes?
